During a shoot, Mathieu Gasq, a 3D and imaging expert, needed to quickly scan a person in high quality, without the usual hassle. But like many professionals, he ran into the limits of traditional photogrammetry: inconsistent shots, lighting issues, missed angles, and bulky, expensive gear.
That’s when a simple but powerful idea took shape:
What if scanning could be smarter? Easier? Accessible to everyone?
And so, ONIZIO was born.
ONIZIO Pod is the compact embodiment of that vision. Designed for creatives, makers, 3D artists and curious minds, it lets you create high-quality 3D scans automatically using just your smartphone.
Place your object, launch the app (iOS or Android), and let ONIZIO do the rest. It calculates the optimal trajectory, adjusts height, sets the rotation speed, and determines how many photos are needed for the best result — all without you lifting a finger (except to press the start button).

ONIZIO was born out of a very real field need: scanning quickly, efficiently, and with high quality. The idea took root in the mind of Mathieu Gasq, a 3D and image capture expert, during a demanding project. Faced with the lack of accessible professional solutions, the answer became clear: it was time to create an automated, reliable, and easy-to-use system.
Mathieu has worked in computer graphics for over 20 years. He is the founder of Tronatic Studio, a company specialized in VFX, CGI, and Design, and the mind behind ONIZIO.
Confronted with the limitations of existing 3D scanning solutions during his shoots, he returned to his first love: robotics and computer systems. This return to his roots—closely linked to his background in engineering—led him to imagine a tool that is simpler, more reliable, and above all, better suited to real-world needs.
To bring the project to life, he surrounded himself with a team as passionate as it is complementary: Maxim, an expert in mechanical design and manufacturing, Marion, in charge of brand development and product marketing, and Gaëlle, responsible for communication and content.
Together, they carry ONIZIO with a clear ambition: to make photogrammetry-based 3D scanning more accessible, faster, and above all, more enjoyable to use.
